Ohioans have several opportunities to pay tribute to state Supreme Court Justice Thomas Moyer.
Moyer's body lies in state from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday in the courtroom at the Supreme Court building in downtown Columbus. The court says members of Moyer's family will be there to receive visitors.
A public funeral service will follow Saturday morning at First Community Church in Marble Cliff, just west of Columbus. Burial will be private.
Also, a public memorial is being planned for Law Day, May 1,to honorMoyer and his achievements. Details are pending.
Moyer was 70 when he died last Friday after being hospitalized for a gastrointestinal issue.
