Local Tuskegee Airman Remembers Segregated America

Columbus resident and Georgia native Robert Peeples is a living legend. He was selected to serve with the Tuskegee Airmen in 1947 when the U.S. military was still segregated. This morning, Peeples will speak at a Martin Luther King Junior breakfast in Westerville. WOSU earlier spoke with Mr. Peeples about the message he'll share and what he thinks about the future for this generation's African-Americans. Click on the play button to hear the interview.
