With 91% of the Franklin County precincts reporting, The Columbus Income Tax issue maintains a healthy lead. With 481 out of 528 Franklin County precincts reporting, the votes for the income tax hike totaled 42,177 (52%) while votes against the tax increase totaled 38,745 (48%).
In the small portion of Columbus that lies in Delaware County, the "no" votes totaled 267 and the "yes" votes totaled 152. A small number of Columbus voters live in Fairfield County. Those results have not been posted.
In the Southwestern City School district, votes against the levy totaled 16,055 (51%) to votes for the levy which totaled 15,344 (49%).
