Central Ohio Swine Flu Monitoring Continues

State and local health officials continue to monitor suspected cases of Swine flu in Central Ohio. The Columbus area has 2 confirmed cases and a handful of suspected and probable cases. Officials say Four new suspect cases were sent to the state laboratory today for testing. They are still waiting for CDC testing on a a probable case of swine flu that infected an OSU freshman living in the Stradley Hall dorm on campus.

A half dozen suspect H1N1 cases sent to the Ohio Department of Health laboratory over the weekend have been deemed negative.
