New Report Sparks More Debate On Role of Charter Schools.

A new report shows the vast majority of Ohio's for profit charter schools are not accountable to the communities they serve and the students in those schools do not perform academically as well as their counterparts in public schools. But advocates for charter schools are taking issue with the report. Ohio Public Radio's Jo Ingles has both sides of the story.

Jo Ingles is a professional journalist who covers politics and Ohio government for the Ohio Public Radio and Television for the Ohio Public Radio and Television Statehouse News Bureau. She reports on issues of importance to Ohioans including education, legislation, politics, and life and death issues such as capital punishment.
