Back-up OSU QB arrested for soliciting a prostitute

Ohio State has suspended third-string quarterback Antonio Henton, a day after he was accused of soliciting a prostitute.

Columbus police arrested the 20-year-old south of campus at 8:30 Monday night. He was in court this morning and pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanor charge.

In a statement, Ohio State coach Jim Tressel says the team is disappointed while very concerned for Henton, who won't travel to Saturday's game at Minnesota.

Henton is a redshirt freshman who completed a pass in four attempts for 20 yards and also ran for 31 yards on seven carries in the eighth-ranked Buckeyes' 58-7 win over Northwestern last weekend.

The 6-foot-2 and 210-pound quarterback came to Ohio State from Fort Valley, Georgia. (Copyright 2007 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.)
