Ohio Attorney General Marc Dann says he wants to pressure loan companies and mortgage brokers who prey on home buyers with bad credit or low incomes.
Dann also has won approval for additional positions. Funding for the new jobs won't come from the taxpayers. Instead, a panel of state lawmakers has O-K'd Dann's plan to use money collected from delinquent taxpayers, student borrowers and others who owe the state.
