A man with a criminal record of 20 convictions of driving under the influence was sentenced in Akron Tuesday to 16.5 years in prison.
Fifty-one-year-old Jess Brown of Barberton received a maximum sentence from Summit County Common Pleas Judge Patricia Cosgrove. Summit County Prosecutor Sherri Bevan Walsh said Brown hasn't had a valid license since 1991, but continued to drive.
