The 7 Ohio race track owners and two Cleveland developers who are asking voter approval for slot machines at their facilities figure they will make many millions of dollars in net profit every year.
The profit forecast was one of the few points that a top supporter and a top critic of the ballot issue agreed on Monday during a rare debate on State Issue 3. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen was there too and files this report.
