The latest Ohio Poll finds a majority of likely voters think the county is safer from terrorism today than before the attacks of September eleventh.
Voters, however, were equally split when asked whether Democrats or Republicans would do a better job of protecting the country.
The Ohio Poll, conducted by the Institute for Policy Research at the University of Cincinnati, was conducted from September seventh through the seventeenth.
Sixty-four percent of likely voters said the war on terrorism was going well or fairly well. Thirty-five percent said it was going not well or not well at all.
Six hundred and seventy one people across the state were interviewed for the poll which has an accuracy rate of plus or minus three-point-eight percent.
