Board recommends Columbus water rate hike

Columbus City Council will soon consider whether to and by how much to increase water and sewer rates. The city's sewer and water advisory board has recommends increases for the upcoming year.The board reccomends a 9.5% increase for sewer rates, a 7.5% increase for water rates, and a 5% increase for storm water rates. For the average home user, the proposed increase translates into about $3.21 per month.
