How 'Meat And Potatoes' TV Shows Keep Viewers Happy

Loyal followings can keep TV shows in production, even without much acclaim. NPR TV critic Eric Deggans calls these well-done, but not groundbreaking programs “meat and potatoes TV.” He talks with Here & Now’s Robin Young about two shows that stand out: Amazon’s “Bosch” and TNT’s “Major Crimes.”
