WOSU’s INSIDE: Reshaping Work Examines How Central Ohio’s Workforce is Evolving
COLUMBUS, OHIO, April 4, 2026— WOSU Public Media returns with its multi-platform series INSIDE. This season, INSIDE: Reshaping Work explores how Central Ohio’s job market and paths to successful careers are changing.
The series dives deep into topics including the impact of technology and the emergence of AI, the growing contributions of immigrants to the local economy, and the comparison between college and trade educational paths.
“The shifts in industries and paths to a thriving lifestyle are creating new opportunities, but also uncertainty for workers, families, and employers across Central Ohio,” said Mike Thompson, Chief Content Director of Radio for WOSU. “Our goal is to help people feel informed, supported, and ready to navigate the future of work—whether they’re just starting out, starting over, or simply trying to keep up.”
Spearheaded by the award-winning WOSU News Department and Emmy®-winning WOSU TV producers, the multi-platform project features weekly special news reports on 89.7 NPR News, the Untangled podcast, TV interstitials, and digital content on YouTube and social media channels.
The series will culminate in a town hall discussion.
Hosted by Amy Juravich of All Sides with Amy Juravich, the town hall will include a panel of experts: Chris Berry, president and CEO of OhioX; Nadia Kasvin, director of US Together; and Lisa Patt-McDaniel, CEO of Aspyr. The town hall will be recorded on Wednesday, April 29.
