Todd’s Inspired Guacamole: Kate's Quicks Bites

As part of Columbus Recreation and Parks, the Priscilla R. Tyson Cultural Arts Center has resources for almost anyone to get creative. The Center Arts Administrator, Todd Camp shares his Almost Famous Guacamole recipe.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • Crème fraiche or sour cream
  • 2 limes
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • Salt/pepper
  • Cumin
  • Cilantro
  • Tajine
  • If you want fresh chips- package of corn tortillas and vegatable oil

Directions

  • Cut open the avocado and remove the pit. Cut into quarters and peel. Chop into bite-size pieces. Add to mixing bowl and mash.
  • Dice onion. Peel and mince garlic clove. Add both to chopped avocado.
  • Juice both limes and add to bowl.
  • Add cumin, cilantro, tajine and salt & pepper to taste.
  • Add creme fresh.
  • Serve with chips.
