Ingredients:
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1tsp turmeric powder
- 1tsp chili powder
- 1tsp cumin powder
- 1tsp coriander powder
- 1tsp ginger powder
- 1tsp garlic powder
- Saltto taste
- 1 lb.shrimp
- 1 tbsp oil
- warm water
Directions:
First, stir fry shrimp and chopped onions with a little oil, salt and turmeric.
Add chili (to taste), cumin, coriander, ginger, and garlic powder. Cook over medium heat from 2-3 minutes
Turn off the heat and add warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes.
Stir once more and let it sit for another 5 minutes.
Serve over Basmati rice or lentil soup.
