WNY scientist achieves national award

CREDIT: Heinz Awards

SUNY Fredonia professor and researcher, Sherri Mason, wins the 23rd Heinz Award in the category for public policy.

Mason was recognized for her research in microplastics. Her research showed the impact microplastics can have on fresh water and human health. She was awarded $250,000.
