Contest Rules For Classical 101 Membership Drive Sweepstakes

1. No purchase is necessary.

2. Prize shall be an afternoon outing that consists of Brunch for two at Wolfes Ridge Brewing, a pair of tickets to Columbus Symphony Orchestra’s Holiday Pops performance on Saturday, December 7th at 3 p.m., and livery service to and from provided by Cardinal Transportation.

3. Contest entries will only be accepted online between November 13, 2024, and November 18, 2024, between 12:01 a.m. ET and 10:00 a.m. ET. Phone and online entries will be accepted between November 13, 2024, and November 18, 2024, between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. ET.

4. Contest for WOSU Radio runs November 13, 2024, and November 18, 2024, or as determined by WOSU management. Contest drawing will be conducted by the next business day. Winners will be notified by telephone or email.

5. You may enter this contest without supporting WOSU by clicking “To enter the contest without making a pledge, CLICK HERE” at www.wosu.org.

6. Must be 18 years of age or older.

7. All contests are open to the general public except for employees, agents, subsidiaries and affiliates of WOSU Public Media, participating sponsors, their immediate families, and household members.

8. Only one of the same prizes can be won within a 30 day period per household (one winner per household per 30 days per prize).

9. The prize will be stated upon winning and the decision of the winner by the station will be final.

10. All State, Local, Federal and or other taxes, duties, tariffs, title fees, licensing fees, or other fees for prizes awarded become the sole responsibility of the winner. All those who win a prize /prizes valued at over $600 will be issued an IRS form 1099 to report their winnings.

11. All prizes are awarded "as is." Gifts are nontransferable and cannot be exchanged.

12. The station shall not be responsible for the failure of participating sponsors to deliver prizes as promised.

13. All entrants and winners agree that WOSU Public Media, THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY, and their affiliates, shall have no liability and shall be held blameless for any injury, misfortune, or damage to either persons or property insured by entering, participating in, winning, or losing any contest by use or non‐use of any prize received.

14. Prizes will be mailed within 2 weeks unless otherwise stated. Prizes that are to be picked up must be claimed in person at the station during regular business hours and within fourteen business days of winning, excluding holidays. Proper identification must be presented to claim prize. After such time, ownership of said prize reverts to the station to be disposed of at their discretion. The winner then loses all claims and rights to said prize.

15. All entry blanks, forms devices and materials, as well as all the information contained on or within, gathered during entry, shall become the sole property of the station to be used, disposed of or destroyed at the discretion of the station.

16. All entrants and winners agree that the station may broadcast or publish their name, city of residence, photo, video tape, film, or any other likeness, including their voice, recorded or live, for any reason the station deems necessary without compensation. All entrants further agree to hold the station blameless and without liability for such publication, broadcast, or use.

17. The station reserves the right to end a contest at any time without any advanced notice to the public.

18. The station reserves the right to limit the number of times an individual may enter a contest or drawing.

19. The station reserves the right to require contestants to be present at drawings to win their prize.

20. Violations of any of these rules or attempts to win any contest by fraud, deception, or cheating shall be grounds for the station to disqualify that individual from participating in all current and future contests and events at the sole discretion of the station, as well as forfeiture of any prize or prizes won by fraudulent means.
