Bring WOSU Public Media to Your School
Introduce students to engineering through the exciting world of Wild Kratts! The Wild Kratts Creature Creator Challenge is a free, drop-in STEM activity that brings hands-on learning to your school event while connecting families with trusted PBS KIDS educational resources.
Designed for elementary students in grades K-5, children draw an engineering challenge card and create an original creature inspired by animal adaptations. Each challenge encourages students to think creatively, solve problems, and apply the Engineering Design Process as they design a creature that can meet a specific constraint.
Great for School Events
The Creature Creator Challenge works well at:

- Science Fairs
- Back-to-School Events
- Curriculum Nights
Because it is a drop-in activity, students can participate anytime during your event. Most children complete the activity in approximately 5 to 15 minutes.

Schools Provide
Schools simply provide:
- Indoor space (preferred)
- Approximately three banquet tables and chairs
- Optional electrical outlet if you would like a Wild Kratts episode playing during the event
Cost
The Wild Kratts Creature Creator Challenge is provided free of charge to Franklin County elementary schools.
