We'd all rather go to concerts–go back to our lives–than stay at home.
But safety first. So, the Music in Mid Ohio series is moving to this blog. Our wonderful performing and presenting organizations are shuttered and I'm searching online, wanting to offer you artists who were supposed to be with us and can't.
Chamber Music Columbus was all set to present two sensations: clarinetist Anthony McGill and pianist Anna Polonsky. That concert will not happen but we need these talents in our lives now.
So here's an online Music in Mid-Ohio performance:
Anna Polonsky is a world class pianist with a local connection. Her father Leonid Polonsky is Associate Concertmaster of the Columbus Symphony. Anna was a great pianist when she was a child. Baby, listen to her now!
These artists were to perform locally, thanks to Chamber Music Columbus. They'll be back. We all will!
