Fifty years working in any profession is quite a long time, but fifty years setting the standard for piano performance is just incredible. Pianist, author and artist Misha Dichter turns 70 this Sunday.
His tutelage could not have been better. Misha Dichter trained with icons from the two great pianistic traditions of the 20th century: the Russian Romantic School with Rosina Lhevinne, his mentor at The Juilliard School, as well as the German Classical taught by Aube Tzerko, a former student of the great Artur Schnabel.
