ProMusica Chamber Orchestra Opening Night

This Sunday, October 12, ProMusica Chamber Orchestra takes the stage for the opening night of their season with Lisa Smirnova at the piano and David Danzmayr conducting an Austrian and American program. Bernstein's West Side Story Overture will open the event, followed by 20th Century Austrain composer Friedrich Goulda's Concerto for Myself and Beethoven's Eroica Symphony No. 3, Op.55. Later this season: November 8 and 9, see Thomas Battenburg on trumpet with Timothy Russell conducting The Trumpet Sounds, a program featuring works by Respigi, Bach, Boyce, Haydn and Mozart. Friday, December 12, join the annual Messiah Sing Along at the Southern Theatre under the baton of Danzmayr at 7:30pm. Saturday, December 13, enjoy Versatile Violin, a program featuring the works of Mozart, Bach and Haydn, and the U.S. premiere of David Fulmer's Jubilant Arcs with renowned violinist, Stefan Jackiw directed by Danzmayr.
