In the Key of Danzmayr: Mozart's Crazy Genius

As the saying goes, there's a fine line between genius and madness.  Glenn Gould's quirky personality is well-documented.  Pianist James Rhodes has made no secret about the mental health issues he has battled.    Even as society shines more light on issues such as these, one has to wonder how Mozart would have fared in modern society. ProMusica Chamber Orchestra Music Director David Danzmayr, who is from Austria, has a special place in his heart for the genius from Salzburg, and a few thoughts on how Wolfgang would fare in today's society.  He points to the Linz Symphony, which you can hear below, as evidence of Mozart's amazing ability to take you from the gates of heaven to the gates of hell in one chord. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWKqAALQztw
