Classical 101 program director Beverley Ervine and I have come up with an idea. Why not invite in people in the community, musicians and normal people, too, and ask them about their favorite music. There's lots of precedent for a program like this. The BBC's Desert Island Discs invites everyone from David Beckham to Princess Margaret. Here in Columbus we have a wonderful community of musicians and music lovers. Once a week I'll offer a broadcast visit and play my guest's favorites.
In order to do this you need to tell me your favorite music, your favorite performance or a recording you can't imagine life without.
