Monster Pianos

Certain movie scenes can become bigger than the movie itself.  There are two scenes in the movie Big, starring Tom Hanks, which stand out for me. One was Hanks at a cocktail party eating pickled baby corn like corn on the cob.  The other is Tom Hanks and Robert Loggia playing Chopsticks and Heart and Soul on the giant piano at FAO Schwarz toy store. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Yu62StlsMY&amp That keyboard is still a huge draw today.  Now, if you work in their toy department, you will most likely be asked to play that piano.  However, it has expanded beyond those two pieces.  Now you had better know your Bach, Beethoven, and Liszt, too. Tom Hanks and Robert Loggia wasn't the first duo to draw a department store crowd with a piano duet.  Harpo and Chico Marx did it in 1941 in The Big Store. You can see that scene below.
