Summer Music Quiz

It's time to test your music IQ.  For centuries, composers haves used the seasons as inspiration for their music.  Vivaldi is the best known, but there are many, many others. Gregor Joseph Werner is one example.  He was a Baroque composer who was working for the Esterhazy court and was there when Haydn was hired.  He wrote a fun piece called A New and Curious Musical Calendar, which clocks in at just under two hours!  (You can hear some of it below.)
