Now, a museum installation using interactive touch-screen technology can make you a maestro. Currently on display at the Mendelssohn-Bartholdy Museum in Leipzig, Germany, is the Mendelssohn Effektorium, an interactive exhibition that allows visitors to conduct a virtual orchestra from a touch-screen musical score, according to Wired. Wave the conductor's baton and the technology will detect the speed and intensity of your movements, quickening or slowing the pace of the music and bringing out the sound of certain instruments according to your gestures.
