Paul Dukas and Mickey Mouse

Today is the birthday of  French composer Paul Dukas.  He was born on this date in 1865 and lived until 1935.   Had he lived another five years, he may have been much surprised to find that his most popular orchestral work, The Sorcerer's Apprentice, would come to be  associated with a little cartoon character named Mickey Mouse.
