Meet the 2011 Classical Music Hall of Fame Inductees

A Pulitzer Prize-winning composer, an orchestra with more than 60 Grammy Awards to its credit and a founder of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center are among the 2011 American Classical Music Hall of Fame inductees, according to a report at Cincinnati.com. The Cincinnati-based hall of fame's most recent class of inductees includes composer John Corigliano, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center founding artistic director Charles Wadsworth, along with Russian cellist Gregor Piatigorsky, conductor Georg Solti and Chorus America. The 2011 inductees join composer John Adams, conductor Marin Alsop, pianist Van Cliburn, conductors James Levine and Robert Shaw, along with other classical music luminaries. Jennifer performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the Civic Orchestra of Chicago before earning a Ph.D. in musicology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
