It is if you're Debra Voight. She tweeted this just before going onstage in Siegfried: "For a woman who is supposed to be awakening from a mighty long slumber, I sure don't feel sleepy tonight." While Wagner rarely had anything to say in brief, many of today's classical musicians have flocked to Twitter. Whether it's pianist Stephen Hough who tweeted: "Annoying that a 'do not disturb' note on my door provokes a phone call from housekeeping to ask when I can be disturbed. You just have!' " Or Hillary Hahn, who apparently has someone else do her tweeting for her...her violin case, to be exact: "Hah! Hilary just noticed that her rehearsal corduroys are threadbare.
