Take A Tour Of The Haydn Room At Esterhaza

It's fun to be in different, exotic places, but not always so fun to deal with the hubbub of getting to and from them. Fortunately for us, the Internet makes it possible for us to see geographically and historically distant places - like the Haydn Room theater at the palace Esterhaza - without even leaving home. Franz Joseph Haydn spent three decades of his life as a musician in the service to the Esterhazy family. During that time, he lived in the family's palace, Esterhaza, and engaged in activities ranging from composing music for the prince's delectation to conducting the court orchestra. So take a (brief) walk in Haydn's footsteps with the video above. You won't even have to pack your bags.
