Listen and then please let me know what music gets you though the bad times. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lAvX_UwmQzQ I fell in love with the Alto Rhapsody the first time I heard it, at Sanders Theater in Cambridge with my buddy Jane Struss. Ben Zander conducted! It's not possible to listen to Marian Anderson in her prime too much. Alisa Weilerstein just won MacArthur "genius grant" . Here's why, in music that takes me to its heart, Elgar's Cello Concerto http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zT5IUQynPkg And my favorite of all, in sickness and in health, in good times and bad. This reminds me I have a soul, even if the world is going to hell for a few days. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LVBb8KD0M5k&feature=related Your turn. What moves you the most?
