Classical 101

Strings Attached. Lots Of Them.

It isn't every day you see a harp quartet. But the British harp ensemble, 4 Girls 4 Harps, may well change that. Harpists Angharad Wyn Jones, Eleanor Turner, Keziah Thomas and Harriet Adie met while studying music in London. They bonded, formed a harp group and now are taking it on the road, to places like the North Wales International Music Festival and in performances with the likes of Sir Elton John, according to a story in Britain's Chester Chronicle. You really should watch 4 Girls 4 Harps play "The Aquarium" from Saint- Saëns' Carnival of the Animals, above.  (Not to, um, harp or anything.)
