Swing It, Johann. Bach Like You've Never Heard It Before.

Whether or not you know it, you've heard J.S. Bach's "Little" G Minor Fugue, BWV 578. Originally an organ work, this fugue has been arranged for any number of combinations of instruments and in musical idioms ranging far, far afield from classical. Speaking of which, here's Jacques Loussier's jazz version of Bach's "little" G Minor Fugue: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7jLqDvE1Vmw

Jennifer Hambrick unites her extensive backgrounds in the arts and media and her deep roots in Columbus to bring inspiring music to central Ohio as Classical 101’s midday host.
