Carnegie Hall 120th Anniversary Concert on PBS Great Performances

PBS program Great Performances presents a gala concert by the New York Philharmonic celebrating the 120th anniversary of New York's Carnegie Hall. The Philharmonic will be conducted by Alan Gilbert in Beethoven's Triple Concerto performed by Gil Shaham (violin), Yo-Yo Ma (cello) and Emanuel Ax (piano). The concert will also include a selection of songs by Duke Ellington performed by Audra McDonald and complete performances of Antonin Dvorak's Carnival Overture and George Gershwin's An American in Paris. The program originally aired Tuesday, May 31 on WOSU TV (check local listings) and is now archived online.
