'Love Letter' Puts Korean Stamp on Opera

[IF YOU WANT TO KEEP THIS I WILL FIND A PICTURE FOR IT] We in the West don't usually hear much about opera goings-on in the East. But like other genres of Western music, opera has made it big in Asia, and soon South Korea will be putting its stamp on the genre. Tomorrow Love Letter, a Korean-language romp through Korean history in the form of a story of ill-fated love, opens at Seoul's Sejong Center for the Performing Arts. Read the story in today's Korean Times. Wonder if Love Letter has plans to go HD anytime soon.

Jennifer Hambrick unites her extensive backgrounds in the arts and media and her deep roots in Columbus to bring inspiring music to central Ohio as Classical 101’s midday host. Jennifer performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the Civic Orchestra of Chicago before earning a Ph.D. in musicology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
