Albert Einstein and Music

Sometimes music helps us in ways that are hard to quantify, although we can recognize the quality that it brings to our lives. The great physicist Albert Einstein, who helped transform our vision of the universe, used music and the violin to free his mind when he was stuck working on a problem. In fact, he loved music so much he said:

"If I were not a physicist, I would probably be a musician. I often think in music. I live my daydreams in music. I see my life in terms of music. I do know I get most joy in life out of my violin."
