Here's a name you'll soon come to know: Laurent Korcia. Even though this talented French violinist has 15 recordings under his belt, it's the amount of current media coverage his new recording, Cinema, is receiving that has launched him into the limelight. Case in point, this NPR music profile. After listening to all of the scrumptious tracks of film score favorites on the album, and watching the video promoting this recording, all I can say is: "Hot, hot, hot!"
