Wellness Wednesday: Calorie Count, Sleep, Blood Donation

11:00 Movies and popcorn go hand-in-hand, but a buttery tub can contain a day’s worth of calories. This hour we’ll talk about the FDA’s new rule that retailers display calorie counts, and if it can slow the obesity epidemic. We’ll also talk about the long range health impacts of insomnia,and discuss a policy decision that could add 600,000 more pints to America’s blood supply.
