Dealing with Massive Student Loan Debt

The issue of student loan debt is about more than helping graduates out from beneath the burden, the country's record $1.2 trillion student loan debt load is hampering economic growth. According to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, the average debt per borrower has increased by 70 percent just since 2004. This hour we consider  the student loans mess, what it costs taxpayers and how we can manage the challenge.
