Where have the jobs gone, not in the last few years but over the course of the last few decades? More importantly, where will the new jobs come from? Now there’s a new documentary film about the local economy movement, in which job creators grow their businesses within the local economy.

Fixing the Future, a documentary film on the local economy movement, is being released nationally on July 18-19, and Columbus is one of 50+ cities that will be hosting the event. On Thurs., July 19 at the Gateway Film Center, SOLE (Support Our Local Economy) Coalition and the Think Columbus First campaign will hold a mixer from 6 - 7:20 p.m. featuring local entrepreneurs and community leaders and advocates for the local economy.
