At the turn of the 20th century, Prohibition was intended to improve the lives of American citizens by protecting them from the devastating effects of alcohol abuse. The law, however, created a mockery of the justice system in the United States. In this hour of All Sides, we'll be speaking with documentary filmmakers Ken Burns and Lynn Novick about their new documentary entitled "Prohibition," which raises vital questions about individual rights and responsibilities, as well as the proper role of government.
