Fireflies Sneak Peek Party

Be among the first families to experience the brand-new PBS KIDS series Super WHY’s Comic Book Adventures before its nationwide premiere on October 5, 2026. Join WOSU Fireflies for an evening of stories, laughter, and hands-on fun. Families will watch an exclusive sneak peek on the big screen, enjoy activities inspired by the show, take part in a read-aloud story experience, and enjoy snacks and fun giveaways. This event is recommended for children ages 3 to 5.

Building Early Reading Skills Through Adventure

Super WHY’s Comic Book Adventures helps young children build the early literacy skills they need to become confident readers. Set in the comic book world of Reader Valley, the series follows the Super Readers as they solve problems using letters, sounds, vocabulary, spelling, and reading comprehension.

Along the way, children are invited to become “Super YOU,” joining the adventure and helping save the day.

Please note, there is NO visitor parking in any of the paved surface or gravel lots adjacent to/behind the WOSU building. If you park in any of these spaces, you may be towed.

N. Pearl St. (the cobbled street adjacent to WOSU) is one way North to South. Please do not arrange curbside pick-up or drop-off of guests on N. Pearl St.

We suggest the Ohio Union South Garage at 1759 N High St, Columbus, OH 43210 for nearest access (see map below).

ADA accessible parking spaces are available in all garages and most surface lots across campus. Paid hourly parking and the display of a state-issued disability placard are required to use an accessible space.
