Columbus Partnership, a powerful coalition of CEOs from area businesses and institutions, is again looking for new leadership after its CEO announced that he is stepping down at the end of the month.
Jason Hall said he will resign on June 30 to move to the St. Louis area to be closer to his parents.
“It has been an extraordinary honor to serve this dynamic region and be a part of the uniquely collaborative Columbus civic culture," Hall said in a statement. "The future is extremely bright in Columbus, and I will be proudly cheering on the continued success of the Columbus Partnership members and team as well as the broader community."
Hall became CEO in January 2025 after Columbus Partnership's former leader, Kenny McDonald, left the role in 2024 to return to his prior position at One Columbus.
Columbus Partnership has appointed Corrine Burger as interim CEO while the organization searches for Hall's permanent replacement.
Burger was a longtime leader at JPMorganChase and its predecessor, Bank One, before her retirement last year. She currently sits on the boards of Nationwide Children's Hospital, Columbus Regional Airport Authority, Columbus State Community College and Nationwide.
“The Columbus Partnership is fortunate to have someone of Corrine’s caliber ready to step into this role. She brings decades of executive leadership and deep ties to this community,” said Steve
Steinour, Columbus Partnership's co-chair and chairman. Steinour is also president and CEO of Huntington Bancshares Incorporated.
