Lydia Loveless

Lydia Loveless is a singer-songwriter who literally grew up in the Ohio music scene.

As a teenager, she performed with her family for several years before she went solo and released her first album in 2010.

She has been releasing critically-acclaimed records and touring extensively ever since.

Lydia is currently on tour and preparing for the release of a new album later this year.

Lydia talks with Hanif about leaning into awkwardness, the perks of living alone, trying stand-up comedy, and writing while heartbroken.

Funding for Small Joys with Hanif Abdurraqib is provided by The Columbus Foundation and the and the Greater Columbus Arts Council.
