What happens when bodies are unclaimed?

The number of people dying alone or without relatives to claim their bodies is growing.

A new book explores this trend, the reasons why and gives us glimpses into the lives of the deceased. The book also challenges our attitudes about the post-mortem process.

We talk with the authors of The Unclaimed: Abandonment and Hope in the City of Angels during this hour of All Sides.

Guests:

  • Pamela Prickett and Stefan Timmermans, authors of The Unclaimed: Abandonment and Hope in the City of Angels
