Audience members at a state meeting last week shouted and sang to protest Ohio’s plan to accept bids to frack under Salt Fork State Park.
No public comments were permitted during the meeting of the Ohio Oil and Gas Land Management Commission.
The five-member commission voted unanimously to open the bidding process for the Guernsey County park.
Also, Ohio Republicans remain divided on whether to rush through changes before the state's new marijuana law takes effect in December.
