The Supreme Court heard oral arguments earlier this week on a case that could severely curtail the E.P.A.’s ability to address climate change.

We discuss that and an exhaustive report released by the UN Intergovernmental Panel on climate change that among other findings, said that as climate change worsens, humanity risks running into hard limits on our ability to cope.
