Working Late in Life and After Retirement Age

It is becoming increasingly more common for those above the age of 65 to continue to stay in the work force longer. While some are choosing to stay working as a source of engagement, many are doing so out of necessity.  As Baby Boomers remain on they are often met with struggles surrounding ageism.  Some are choosing new avenues of working to help combat these prejudices.

The 22nd Annual Senior Career Expo provides mature job seekers, 50yrs+, with resources for a successful job search. The Expo is held at the Fawcett Center, 2400 Olentagy River Rd. on Thursday August 25th, 2016. The event begins at 8am and goes till 2pm with various workshops and reviews in between. Recruiters will be at the event from 9am-1pm.
