Ohio State University issued a neighborhood safety notice Sunday after a man reportedly tried to lure a woman into a car just off-campus.The notice from Ohio State’s Department of Public Safety says the incident happened around 12:30 p.m. A female student was reportedly walking near the intersection of Indianola Avenue and East 15th Avenue when a man pulled a car up beside her and “motioned for her to get in the vehicle and then told her to get in.”
The vehicle was described as a white, medium-sized car “with a white piece of paper on the windshield with a handwritten note that said ‘Uber.’”
The release says the woman said no and the driver pulled away.
