Police in central Ohio say a pizza delivery man was shot and killed while making a delivery. Authorities responding to a report of a shooting around 9:30 Wednesday night found 45-year-old James Crabtree, Jr. in the street on the northeast side of Columbus. Police say Crabtree appears to have been shot while delivering pizza. He had multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body and was pronounced dead at the scene. Police continue to investigate, but say robbery appears to be a possible motive for the shooting. The shooting marks the 78th homicide in Columbus in 2014.
